The West Alabama Labor Council will hold the National
AFL-CIO Workers Memorial Day on Monday, April 28th
at 1:00pm in Tuscaloosa at the planned building site for the
Workers Memorial at the Greensboro Avenue and Jack Warner Parkway on
the Tuscaloosa River Walkway. Union members and the public are
invited to attend this event. Event speakers include Congressman
Artur Davis and Tuscaloosa Mayor Watt Maddox. National Labor and
Business Leaders have been invited to speak also. We are asking all
union members to please attend our Memorial Day Event.
