Santa's Local 119 Helpers Kid's Book Drive

Creating a steady stream of new, age-apprpriate books has been show to nearly triple interest in reading within months. By the age of 2, children who are read to regularly display greater language comprehension, larger vocabularies, and higher cognitive skilss than their peers.  

The UA Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 119 are once again charged with being Santa's helpers. The membership voted to hold the Santa's 119 Helpers Bood Drive to benefit the Child Day Care Association. They will be collecting books for children from newborn to 6 years old.
