Alabama Labor Archives is a private not-for-profit corporation that began in 2002 when the Alabama AFL-CIO recognized the need for a labor archives and history museum that documented the history of organized labor in Alabama.

Several archived labor leader video clips can be viewed on our Labor Voices page or on YouTube.

Two University of Alabama student documentarians explored reasons why there are too few unions in the South and produced Operation Dixie which can be found on Vimeo.
